How do I make a GOOD cup of coffee?

I just have a Mr. Coffee coffee maker, right?
I never know how much coffee grinds to put in the filter,
Or how much milk or sugar to put in, either.
I know everyone has their own tastes,
But I don’t want it to end up too strong or not strong enough.

This is probably the dumbest question ever! Ha.

Not a dumb question at all. You would be amazed how many people have no idea the proper amount of coffee to use.

The easiest way to measure the right amount of coffee for a stardard pot is to just use a 1/2 cup measuring cup and go with that. If you like bold coffee you can go as high as 3/4 cup, but 1/2 cup is about 2 oz. of coffee which is pretty standard at places you would get coffee outside your house (Starbucks uses 3 oz. which is why their coffee is stronger).

Milk and Sugar are really added to your personal preference. A good place to start is a tablespoon of cream and a teaspoon of sugar and go up from there if necessary. I prefer fat-free Half & Half over Milk and Equal over sugar but go with what you like.
