How I can make tea with a coffee maker french press?

I heard a French press is useful for manufacturing loose tea leaves, however, I can not find any tips for actually doing so, such as tea proprtions own water and appropriate water temperature for best extraction. I would prefer responses from those who have made this method instead of a link to a site genaric. any and all tips on this method of brewing would be appreciated. prefer to lose a green tea leaves i if it makes a difference, although I would advice to both.
