Is coffee supposed to be clear when you first make it?

Well, mine comes out cloudy. It just strikes me as odd. I recently, very recently cleaned out my coffee maker with vinegar (apple cider though, not regular). We do have hard water here though, but we filter it…i guess it’s not like i am going to die from drinking it. I was simply curious. Is coffee supposed to be clear (dark but transparent-ish, you know what i mean…)?
Also, can coffee become burnt? o.o

several things could be going on here
did u run at least 2 cycles of clean water through the pot after u ran the vinegar through?
did u put regular coffee grounds in?
did u put enough?
did u use a paper or gold filter?
coffee should be dark brown (almost black) not at all see through.
